I am honored to join Barbour County High School as principal midway through this 2024-2025 school year. I bring with me over 13 years of experience in education. I hold degrees in General Counseling, Criminal Justice, Special Education, and Certification Instructional Leadership, which have equipped me to serve students from all backgrounds effectively.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a special education teacher, wrestling coach, assistant principal, and principal. One of my most fulfilling achievements has been founding a nonprofit organization to support at-risk youth. I’m deeply passionate about mentoring and coaching students, helping them realize their full potential, both in and out of the classroom. I am a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and I value community and family above all else. I am a proud husband and father and reside in Wetumpka. My family and I are members of Shiloh Baptist Church in Montgomery, and our faith is a guiding force in all we do.
Returning to Barbour County feels like coming home, and I’m excited to partner with the students, staff, and families of this incredible community. Together, I believe we can achieve great things and create an environment where every student can thrive
